Tutorial: Create a Study Configuration

In Morae, you create a study configuration (.mrcfg) that contains your study information, including task definitions, marker definitions and a satisfaction survey. The study configuration also contains recording information, including how you want to start and stop Recorder, what events you want to capture, who will log tasks in Observer, and how you want to process the recordings.

In this lesson we will cover:

  3. In the Description tab of the Study Setup, enter a Study name and Study description. The name and description appear in Recorder.
  4. Click OK to create the new study configuration.
  5. Close the message about screen resolution that pops up.
Because you are not recording a real session, do not change your desktop settings. When you run a real test, this message guides you to set up your screen resolution for the best system performance.
